Main Barn

Stabled Horses
Horses stabled in either of our two barns, receive 2 feedings per day and stalls are cleaned 7 days a week; and several times a day when they are in during the daytime.  Horses are turned out daily, which field they are turned out in will be determined by, gender, temperament and how well they get along with any given group. Turnout alone, or with one other companion can be arranged.  In fall/winter the horses are turned out during the day and spring/summer they are turned out at night. During the hot months when they are in during the day they are given hay morning and midday and graze at night, during fall/winter the bulk of the hay ration is given in the evening, grazing is supplemented with hay when needed during the day.  Blanketing  is included at no extra charge.

Pasture Board
Pasture horses receive 1 daily feeding.  During the summer there is usually an abundance of grass, hay is fed during the winter months and at any time when grass is insufficient.  As with stabled horses, pasture horses will be placed in pastures according to gender and temperament.

Working Board
Stabled or pastured; this arrangement is for suitable types whose owners request that they be used in our lesson program.  This arrangement is useful in the case of children's ponies that may not receive sufficient exercise otherwise, especially in the case of beginner riders where it is beneficial that their pony also be ridden by more experienced riders.  Working board is also useful for owners who may not always have time to ride as much as they would like.  There is a reduction
in board fees for working boarders.
